Voltas Tower AC is available in the capacities of 2 Ton (TR), 3 Ton (TR), and 4 Ton (TR). At present, ‘cooling only’ Tower AC Units are offered by Voltas. These are fixed-speed units with rotary and twin rotary compressors. R32 is the refrigerant used in these Voltas Tower AC units. These units are also termed as slimline air conditioners from Voltas. The name slimline indicates the sleek and tall design that allows these units to be placed in small places with a relative ease.

The power supply needed for the 2 Ton (TR) Unit is 230 / 50 / 1 Phase, whereas the power supply needed for the 3 Ton (TR), 4 Ton (TR) Units is 415 / 50 / 3 Phase.

Airflow volume that is delivered by 2 Ton Unit is 1100 CMH (Cubic Meter per Hour). Whereas the airflow volume delivered by 3 Ton and 4 Ton units is 1700 CMH.

The indoor unit dimensions are as follows:

For 2 Ton Unit - 51 cm (width) x 175 cm (height) x 35.5 cm (depth)

For 3 Ton / 4 Ton Unit - 55 cm (width) x 180 cm (height) x 35 cm (depth)

Voltas Tower AC comes equipped with Insta cool compressor that results in instant cooling of targeted spaces.

Since these units are placed inside the rooms, therefore, the indoor units are designed to maintain silent operation throughout the operating hours.

The evaporator fins are coated hydrophilic blue.

The angle of air throw is significantly wide. In other words, Voltas Tower AC covers a wider angle and that results in instant cooling of the space.

The price range varies from Rs 65000 to Rs 109000. GST (Goods and Services Tax) is included. The 2 Ton Tower AC price is approximately Rs 65000 inclusive of the GST. Whereas the 3 Ton Tower AC price is about Rs 91900 inclusive of the GST. And Voltas 4 Ton Tower AC price is approximately Rs 109000 inclusive of the GST. The refrigerant or the gas is included in the above prices. Freight is extra as per the actual.

Installation charges are extra and that depends on the layout / map of the room or space where these Tower AC units will be installed. In case the distance between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit is small, then, installation charges will be less, whereas if the distance between the ODU and the IDU is large, the installation charges will be more because of the increased cost of copper piping work.
