Carrier Ductable AC or Duct Air Conditioners by Carrier are available in the Indian marketplace from 3 Ton (TR), 4 Ton (TR), 5.5 Ton (TR), 8.5 Ton (TR), 11 Ton (TR), and 16.5 Ton (TR). 11 Ton (TR) is available either with a single outdoor unit or double outdoor units. 16.5 Ton (TR) is available with double outdoor units. Energy-efficient scroll compressor is used in these ducted AC units by Carrier. R410A is the refrigerant. Carrier Ductable AC is perfect for open offices, schools, restaurants, homes, shops, showrooms, universities, and any other big-size space. Carrier Ductable AC units are Highly reliable units that come equipped with scroll compressor technology. The in-built compressor protection offers minimum noise, better efficiency, ease in installation, improved reliability, and longer service life.
Expansion valve that is thermostatic in nature adjusts the refrigerant volume flow as per the variations in the heat load. This makes the whole Ducted Unit much more efficient over a wide temperature range.
Compressor is configured to save power. Fins are of dual sine wave pattern and copper tubes are internally grooved that result in enhanced energy-efficiency.
Indoor units are equipped with DIDW direct driven fans that result in ‘powerful and uniform air throw’ across the building or space under consideration.
The Carrier Ductable AC Units are easily installed and require very little maintenance over their lifespan. The outdoor unit is easily serviced because of its compact and modular design.
Microprocessor based remote control allows for precise temperature setting.
S3 Capacitors in fan motors result in protection against electrical shock and fire.
HP or High pressure switch used in Carrier Ductable AC units cuts off the power supply in case of excess discharge by the compressor.
Similarly, these units also come equipped with an LP or low pressure switch that monitors the loss of discharge over the evaporator coil and safeguards it.
