How to Install the Dunham Bush Floor Mounted Air Conditioners:

Correct installation of the Dunham Bush floor-mounted air conditioner guarantees optimal performance, safety, and energy savings.

1. Indoor Unit Installation (IDU)

• Positioning:
  • Place the Dunham Bush Tower air conditioner in the center of the room on a level floor.
  • Maintain minimum clearances:
    • Sides: 300 mm
    • Top: 500 mm
    • Front (Air Flow): 2000 mm
  • Anchoring:
    • Use rubber pads to minimize noise.
    • Ensure the rear airflow is unobstructed.
  • Drainage:
    • Connect the condensate drain pipe and use a slight downward slope.
    • Ensure proper insulation to prevent dripping.
  • Wiring:
    • Use a separate 1-phase 220–240V, 50Hz power supply.
    • Ensure grounding and use surge protection.

2. Outdoor Unit Installation (ODU)

• Location:
  • Keep in a shaded, ventilated area away from sunlight.
  • Ensure easy access for maintenance.
• Mounting:
  • Mount on a concrete slab or anti-vibration bracket.
  • Maintain clearances:
    • Back & Sides: ≥300 mm
    • Front (Fan Side): ≥1000 mm
  • Refrigerant Connection:
    • Connect copper pipes to liquid (Φ9.52 mm) and gas (Φ22 mm) lines.
    • Ensure leak testing with nitrogen and proper insulation.
  • Power Supply:
    • Use a 3-phase 380–415V, 50Hz line with a proper MCB.
    • Ensure a separate circuit with appropriate earthing.
